Conor McGregor reacts to 2016 Call of Duty version of himself while also announcing possible game release soon

Conor McGregor shared on Instagram his reaction to the 2016 Call of Duty version of himself and teased a new game in the works.

A post is doing rounds on social media contrasting the difference between the 2016 Call of Duty version of the Irishman and the newest version of the Electronic Arts UFC version. Fans noted the relatively more realistic character model in the former.

Reacting to the contrast, the double-champ posted a story on Instagram where he hinted at a possible new game he is in:

"Possibly I am in a new game but about to be announced in the next few days. Let's see...."

McGregor is always engaged in some form of entrepreneurial venture, whether it's setting up pubs, starring in million-dollar Hollywood movies or owning a stake in the BKFC promotion. Now 'The Notorious' seems to continue his name in the world of gaming.

Conor McGregor has illuminated the UFC game cover multiple times

Conor McGregor's appearance on 'Call of Duty: Infinite warfare' is not the Irish superstar's first venture into the world of video games, as the former champion has been the cover athlete for the official UFC game multiple times. Previously, 'The Notorious' appeared once with Ronda Rousey on UFC 2, and then alone on the cover of UFC 3 with his two championship belts.

While some have joked about the 'curse' of the video game cover, the superstardom it signifies could not be denied. Whether it is Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, Valentina Shevchenko, Alexander Volkanovski, or Jorge Masvidal, the coveted cover image denotes any fighter's ascendancy as the MMA world's biggest star.

While Call of Duty is a first-person shooter game, it will be fun to see what the next game featuring the Irish superstar will be.
