Conor McGregor reacts to behind-the-scenes Road House fight sequence rehearsals with Jake Gyllenhaal: "Put the work in"
Conor McGregor recently reflected on a behind-the-scenes clip of him rehearsing a fight sequence with Jake Gyllenhaal when the two were shooting for Road House. McGregor made his Hollywood debut in the film, which was a remake of the 1989 classic of the same name.
'The Notorious' played one of the antagonists, a man named Knox, and had a number of physical altercations with Gyllenhaal's character throughout the movie. After a brief run in theatres, the movie was released on Amazon Prime back in March.
Whilst he didn't earn any major nominations or awards, McGregor was praised for his role, and surprised fans with his acting ability. The movie also saw much of its plaudits come for the fight sequences that took place throughout, with McGregor and Gyllenhaal's characters supplying most of the action by engaging in cinematic and brutal clashes.

McGregor wrote in the caption:
"Put the work in, get the reward."

Dan Hooker talks potential bout against Conor McGregor
Dan Hooker is hoping to have a bout against Conor McGregor locked in by the end of this weekend. Hooker has been rumored to be facing McGregor since his win over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305. In his post-fight speech, 'The Hangman' called out the Irishman for a bout, with McGregor later revealing that it could be on the cards.
Hooker then spoke to Ariel Helwani on his new self-titled show and revealed some details about his potential clash against 'The Notorious'. He said that he hopes to face either a top five opponent, or Conor McGregor, and that he should have a "name and a date" by next week. He said:
"I told the UFC either January or March and it will be someone in the top five or Conor McGregor. That will be who I'll be stepping inside the cage with come January or March next year... My manager is in Saudi, he's with [Alexander Volkanovski]. He'll get to talk to Hunter [Campbell], he'll get to talk Sean [Shelby] so I'm sure by the end of this weekend or when he comes back from Saudi Arabia, I'll have my next fight penciled in. I'll have a name and a date by the end of this weekend."
