Conor McGregor reacts after completing 10 years in the UFC

Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor has completed a decade in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since making his debut in the promotion against Marcus Brimage on April 6, 2013. McGregor has since become one of the most popular fighters in the history of the UFC.

In celebration of the milestone, UFC Europe commemorated McGregor's debut in the promotion on their Twitter handle, sharing a video of the Irishman stepping on the scale ahead of his first fight. McGregor reacted to the tweet, simply saying:

During his career in the UFC, the Irishman has won 22 fights, with 19 of those wins coming by way of knockout. He has also been awarded several accolades, including the UFC featherweight and lightweight championship titles. McGregor's unique personality and fighting style have made him the poster boy of the UFC.

Besides his fighting skills, the former two-division champion is known for his ability to draw massive audiences. His fights have brought in some of the highest pay-per-view buys in the history of the sport. McGregor's bouts against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Khabib Nurmagomedov have broken records and cemented his status as one of the biggest stars in combat sports.

Although McGregor has been out of action since his injury at UFC 264, he made his return to the UFC with a coaching position on 'The Ultimate Fighter.' McGregor coached against Michael Chandler, and the two will then face off in a fight with the weight class that is yet to be disclosed. The show is expected to air from May 30th onwards.
