Conor McGregor relates Artem Lobov’s love for “rodents and reptiles” to the Russian’s alleged betrayal by filing defamation suit
Conor McGregor has continued slagging off his former friend and training partner, Artem Lobov. In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor seemed to imply a relationship between Lobov's love of rodents and reptiles and his alleged betrayal towards the Irishman.
It appears the legal battle between McGregor and Lobov has turned up a notch, with the Russian reportedly filing a second lawsuit against the Irish superstar for defamation. Lobov initially filed a lawsuit seeking millions in restitution after claiming he played a major role in helping McGregor launch his whiskey brand.
In a recent tweet that has since been deleted, 'Notorious' claimed that his father was receiving legal papers from Lobov and made some revelations about the Russian's favorite pets:
"My da 63 years of age getting lawyer letters off Artem omg. You told my da and me that you kept rodents and reptiles as pets. Rats and snakes are your thing you said. You relate to them, you said to us. Do you not remember? You absolute jacka*s."
McGregor confirmed the second lawsuit filed against him and his father through another tweet:
“Artem is trying to sue me and my father for defamation now as well, oh lord, god bless. Artem, you look like an uncooked sausage of a thing. Jump on the pan for a minute pal, you look rough mate. God bless ya pal.”
Brendan Schaub defends Conor McGregor amidst PED use allegations
Brendan Schaub has come out in support of McGregor and stated that the superstar's use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) to recover from the horrific injury he suffered against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 is understandable.
Schaub spoke on The Schaub Show on his YouTube channel and defended McGregor:
"UFC? [Conor McGregor's] the cash cow. Do what you gotta do to get back. Because when he does compete, he's going to be clean. It's a gray area... You guys judging Conor or anybody that's done things out there and [suffers] a horrible injury like that, you don't know what the f**k you're talking about. The stakes are so godd*mn high. I would do the exact same thing."

The allegations about Conor McGregor's PEDs use likely stem from the Irishman's bulked up physique in his recent pictures and USADA themselves admitting that they have not tested 'Notorious' in the past 12 months.
