Conor McGregor responds after being accused of buying his way out of various criminal charges

Conor McGregor has been on Twitter beefing with various personalities, famous or otherwise, this holiday season. 'The Notorious' star has gained a reputation for fiercely responding to nudges on the social media platform and then deleting some of his more provocative posts.

In the latest of the aforementioned posts, however, 'The Notorious' kept his reply short. A user mentioned the arrests of the Irishman, accusing him of buying his way out of various charges.

The Twitter user's post read:

"That's rich coming from you, hahaha. You're squeaky clean, eh? Bought your way out of various charges that were brought against you. [You] intimidated and struck fear into others so they wouldn't proceed [those charges against you], etc. Some piece of work you are. If you hadn't all that money, you'd be in jail right now."

Conor McGregor replied with the following:

"Paid nothin' #kingdingaling"

'The Notorious' has been true to his namesake, having had many infractions over the years. That includes various driving offenses, the infamous UFC 223 media-day incident, allegations of sexual assault, a Dublin pub assault on an old man, and the alleged attack on Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti, to name a few.

Conor McGregor has been arrested, held in custody, and has appeared in court on more than one occasion. However, he has been able to pay amounts ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 in fines and bonds, and reportedly reach out-of-court settlements with 'victims'.

The elderly man seemed unfazed by Conor McGregor's left hand in the Dublin pub incident

In a video released by TMZ Sports in 2019, McGregor was seen assaulting an elderly man in a pub in Dublin, Ireland. Apparently, the individual refused to drink the Irishman's Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, which left 'The Notorious' enraged.

Check out TMZ Sports' video:

In the video, Conor McGregor can be seen entering the pub and getting a bottle of his whiskey before pouring glasses of it for people in the establishment.

When the UFC superstar put a drink next to the old man, he took the glass and placed it back on the counter. McGregor tried to offer the man another drink, which he refused, before both could be seen exchanging words.

What followed was a left hook on the man. Unlike most of McGregor's opponents who either got dropped or knocked out, the elderly individual seemed unfazed. Following the assault, the Irishman was seen being escorted out of the premises.

McGregor last fought in a trilogy against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, where he suffered a first-round TKO as a result of breaking his leg. He has since been on the road to recovery. It is unclear as to when 'The Notorious' will return to the octagon.
