Conor McGregor rips into coaches of GSP, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kamaru Usman in latest Twitter rant
Conor McGregor is seemingly back in his trash-talking element as he prepares for his octagon return. However, it isn't fighters but renowned MMA coaches around the world who have become the target of McGregor's latest rant.
Georges St-Pierre's coach Firas Zahabi, known as one of the best minds in the game, was labeled a "douchebag" by 'Notorious'. Kamaru Usman's coach Trevor Wittman, Khabib Nurmagomedov's head coach Javier Mendez, who has produced five UFC champions so far, and Jon Jones' head coach Greg Jackson, all became the subjects of McGregor's foul-mouthed rant.
Hailing his own coach John Kavanagh of SBG Ireland supreme, the former UFC double champ wrote on Twitter:
"Firaz zihabi is a little douchebag, Trevor wittman is a pad man. Javier Mendez is a fat lick arse kick boxer, Mike brown [ATT] is a smelly prick, Greg Jackson got caught up, the system of coach kavanagh is now shining thru. In years to come the world will know what we have been at. It’s beginning to bare fruit, if you want to train. Train at sbg Ireland with kav. And me. We are a fight factory akin to butter churning."
"Reeks of proper twelve" - Fans react to Conor McGregor trashing top MMA coaches
Conor McGregor declaring John Kavanagh better than all the other elite MMA coaches did not go down well with the majority of MMA fans. While some came out in support of the targeted coaches, others simply dismissed it as an intoxicated rant from 'Notorious'. Fans wrote:
"This post reeks of proper twelve and I'm ok with it"
"I don't always drink Proper Twelve. But when I do, I Twitter....."
Former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) coach Jamie Huey backed up 'GSP's coach Firas Zahabi. He wrote:
"I can’t vouch for anyone but Firaz Zihabi. I been in the corner with Firaz several times. He’s very smart, he knows the game."

"AKA owns SBG."
"I forgot about all of the champs sbg has produced 🙄"
"Whenever you meet a guy who talks like this about everyone, know that he's most likely the one who's the problem."
However, there will always be hardcore fans of Conor McGregor who will never fail to support the Dubliner.
