Conor McGregor seemingly loses it after failed bets at UFC 308, calls Artem Lobov a retard
Conor McGregor failed to predict the outcomes of the UFC 308 co-main and main events causing him to lose $500,000 in bets. Right after the confirmation of his losses, the Irishman also put out a now-deleted tweet that labeled his friend-turned-foe Artem Lobov a "retard".
McGregor put his money on Robert Whittaker and Max Holloway for the co-main and main events of UFC 308. He also predicted KO victories for both of them with Duelbits providing him with odds of 4.60 on Whittaker's victory and 7.40 on Holloway's triumph.
As a result, the BKFC co-owner stood a chance to amass a staggering $17,120,000 from the bets. But none of his predictions came to life, making him lose the $500,000 he had betted.

Shortly after the end of the UFC 308 main event, 'The Notorious' chose to fire a shot at his former SBG teammate, Artem Lobov with a tweet. However, he resorted to his usual tweet-and-delete shenanigans and removed the post afterward.
"Artem Lobov is a retard"
The entire situation indicates that McGregor was possibly frustrated after losing his bets. This is probably why he chose to take a jibe at Lobov yet another time. However, nobody except McGregor himself will be able to document the actual reason behind dissing his Russian friend-turned-foe.
Conor McGregor provided a startling piece of trivia with another now-deleted tweet
Conor McGregor put out an interesting piece of trivia about the UFC's BMF champions after the ending of the UFC 308 main event. Three UFC stars, namely Jorge Masvidal, Justin Gaethje, and Max Holloway have earned the honor of calling themselves the BMF of the UFC to date.
But the Dublin native's tweet showcased that all three of them have endured devastating KO defeats in the fights following their BMF title victory. Holloway failed to break this cycle as he endured his first-ever KO defeat against Ilia Topuria at the UFC 308 main event.
