Conor McGregor shows off his "$1,200,000" winnings from UFC 307 Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree fight

Conor McGregor recently flexed about the money he made from his bet on the Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. main event of the UFC 307. The Irishman brought out his Mystic Mac persona once more to make a correct prediction about the fight, thereby making his bank account heavier by a whopping $1,200,000.

Pereira and Rountree Jr. are both devastating strikers. The number of KO/TKO victories in both of their records had several fans and pundits opining that the fight would end in a KO/TKO victory for one of them. McGregor's actions showcased that he was in the same boat with all of them. The former champ-champ risked a staggering $1,000,000 on his bet for the fight ending with a KO/TKO.

It ultimately turned out to be a happy ending for McGregor as Pereira won the fight via a TKO in the fourth round. The 1.2 odds given for this bet caused the Dublin native to make a profit of $200,000, thereby boosting his total earnings to $1,200,000. McGregor shared the details of his bet with an Instagram post that read:

Conor McGregor impressed by quality of fighting in the UFC 307 main event

Apart from making money from the UFC 307 main event, Conor McGregor was also thoroughly impressed by the show that Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. put up for the fans. He lauded both the combatants with a now-deleted tweet, also labeling their fight a "REAL" one:
