Conor McGregor is still relevant enough to get UFC title shot after one win: Michael Bisping
Conor McGregor has gone 1-3 since 2018, topped off by consecutive losses against Dustin Poirier. 'The Notorious' has also been out of action for over a year and a half, nursing a broken leg while crusing around Europe on his Lambo superyacht.
However, Michael Bisping recently claimed that McGregor remains the biggest star in the sport till date. During a Q&A on YouTube, a fan opined that the Irishman would likely have to defeat Poirier before aspiring for the title, but Bisping disagreed.
'The Count' is absolutely confident that McGregor will get an immediate title shot if he wins his comeback fight. The former UFC middleweight champion said on his YouTube channel:
"Listen buddy, you like it or not, Conor's still the biggest star in the sport. And with one win, you can bet your bottom dollar that he is gonna fight for the title. Of course he is. And the reality is, if you own the organization and you had a guy like Conor that could bring in millions of pay-per-view buys, you'd probably do the same thing. I don't agree with it but that's just the way the world works."

Conor McGregor's next fight could be against Tony Ferguson
Conor McGregor could make a reappearance on The Ultimate Fighter, where he has already starred opposite Urijah Faber in 2015. McGregor recently claimed to have been offered another opportunity as TUF coach, which he admittedly 'likes'.
Shortly afterwards, Tony Ferguson also claimed to have received a similar offer along with the opportunity to pick his rival coach. 'El Cucuy' seemingly picked McGregor since his first choice Khabib Nurmagomedov is no longer involved with the sport.
Ferguson is currently at a critical juncture, having dropped five in a row that exposed several flaws in his game. According to Michael Bisping, 'El Cucuy' is a good matchup for Conor McGregor to get himself back in the game. 'The Count' further said on his YouTube channel:
"I mean Tony's very hittable, Conor's good at hitting. Tony hasn't won, I think he's lost five in a row now... So it's a good comeback fight for Conor to find his mojo, knock someone out, to get his confidence and potentially set up a title fight."
