Conor McGregor teases Nate Diaz mega-trilogy in cryptic post day after revealing Logan Paul plans: "Straight away the fight was made"

It appears Conor McGregor has some big career moves planned. The Irishman recently hinted at fighting Nate Diaz in a potential trilogy clash on social media, just a day after revealing plans to face Logan Paul in the boxing ring.

Earlier this week, McGregor took to social media to announce that he's agreed to share the squared circle with Paul for an exhibition fight seemingly arranged by the Ambani family in India. In an X post, he also dismissed the idea of a potential Ilia Topuria fight and wrote:

"The rumors of a bout with topurio [Topuria] are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."

After sending fans reeling with this announcement, McGregor has now teased a potential trilogy fight against Diaz. In a follow-up X post, 'The Notorious' shared a clip of the Stockton slugger's iconic callout post-fight octagon before their first showdown and wrote:

"And straight away the fight was made. 145lb World Champion up to 170lb. Let’s go! #RealFightersOnly."

Ariel Helwani shares thoughts on potential Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul boxing match

Ariel Helwani recently gave his two cents on a potential Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul boxing match taking place in India. The veteran journalist didn't appear optimistic about the matchup but confirmed that team McGregor was in contact with team Paul.

In an X post, Helwani shared his thoughts on a McGregor-Paul boxing match potentially going down next year thanks to the Ambani family and wrote:

"The only thing that I can add to it is, again, to maintain, as I said yesterday, there's validity to the fact that phone calls were made. What Jake [Paul] tweeted, based on my understanding, is accurate... Phone calls were made between Team McGregor and Team Logan Paul [but it] feels like a long shot... Digging a little bit, I don't think that this is what Dana White was referring to. That's my verdict. Again, we'll never truly know unless he comes out and says it."
