Conor McGregor TUF: Viral AI chatbot ChatGPT gives shocking prediction for opponent
Conor McGregor recently announced that he has been offered a coaching position on The Ultimate Fighter's (TUF) upcoming season. Shortly afterwards, UFC president Dana White shared McGregor's post, offering considerable credibility to his assertion.
The UFC's long-running reality competition series returned to action on ESPN+ in 2022. The promotion has not officially announced the 31st season, but shooting for the season is expected to begin soon, with a weekly broadcast likely occurring later this year.
Evidently, McGregor's announcement has shaken up the world of mixed martial arts, and netizens have begun speculating on who should be cast as the opposing coach alongside 'The Notorious'.
Michael Chandler, Jorge Masvidal, and Tony Ferguson are among the names that fans have tossed in as the perfect pairing for Conor McGregor's TUF opponent.
ChatGPT, a chatbot released by OpenAI, an artificial intelligence research and deployment company, in November 2022, recently predicted McGregor's opposing coach. ChatGPT is a language model that can generate realistic, human-like text and respond to complex queries. It is a revolutionary technology since it has been taught to comprehend what humans mean when they pose a question.
Funnily enough, the AI platform predicts that McGregor's arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov will be cast as the rival coach on the reality show. MMA reporter Aaron Bronsteter shared the interesting finding on Twitter which said:
"Who will be the lucky coach to lead the opposing team? The tension is high as we reveal the name of Conor's opponent. Are you ready? Without further ado, we are thrilled to announce that the coach of the opposing team will be none other than... Khabib Nurmagomedov! It's going to be an epic showdown as these two MMA legends go head to head in the Octagon. Tune in to see which team will come out on top in this ultimate battle of skill and strategy. It's going to be a season you won't want to miss!"
The feud between McGregor and Nurmagomedov is one of the most bitter rivalries in the history of the UFC. The Irishman has been pursuing a rematch with 'The Eagle' since losing at UFC 229. However, Nurmagomedov has decided to retire and focus on spending time with his family.
Conor McGregor's former TUF opponent wants the Irishman to accept coaching duties in the upcoming season
Recent reports indicate that Conor McGregor has received a second offer to coach on The Ultimate Fighter. McGregor did not elaborate on the rumored role in the reality television series based primarily on coaching a team of aspiring fighters.
This is not the first time that 'The Notorious' will take on the responsibility of a coach in the reality TV series. Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber were featured as coaches on TUF season 22.
Conor McGregor's former TUF opponent, Urijah Faber, was amongst the first to react to the Irishman's announcement. He commented on the Instagram post:
"This will be awesome. Do it!"
