Craig Jones calls out ADCC for allowing Seth Daniels, who threatened to k*ll the Aussie, to keep working for the company
Craig Jones has called out the organizers of the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) World Championships for allowing Seth Daniels to continue working for them. At the beginning of June, Daniels sent death threats to the Australian, and it appeared that ADCC had fired the Fight 2 Win CEO.
Fight 2 Win is a submission grappling competition founded by Daniels, who will be hosting F2W: 258 in Vancouver, Canada, on Aug. 2. The event is sponsored by ADCC, among other brands.
The support given by ADCC has prompted Jones to take to Instagram to call out Mo Jassim and his fellow organizers, who have been in charge of the company since 2019.
The Australian grappler appeared bewildered by their support for Daniels, given his previous threats. The 33-year-old also called out FloGrapppling, a grappling broadcasting company, for their decision to show F2W: 258 on their platform.
He wrote this:
"Seth Daniels. I'm coming. I'm in Vancouver. Bring your best assassin."
Jones continued:
"This guy threatens to k*ll me, still keeps his job with ADCC. Also keeps streaming his shows on FloGrappling."

Unpacking the drama between Craig Jones and ADCC
The Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) World Championships, which takes place every two years, is the most prestigious no-gi grappling tournament in the world.
Craig Jones is a former 2x silver medalist at ADCC, however, he surprisingly announced earlier this year that he wouldn't be competing at ADCC 2024, which takes place on Aug. 17-18.
He stated that there was no financial incentive to compete at the tournament, claiming that the prize money for winning ADCC had remained the same since 2017, at $10,000, despite the sport growing exponentially.
Instead, Jones created his own grappling competition named the Craig Jones Invitational, featuring two weight divisions, -80KG and +80KG. The winner of each division will receive a $1 million cash prize, and to top it all off, the CJI will take place on the same weekend as ADCC 2024.
The massive cash prize at the CJI has seen numerous BJJ athletes who were originally competing at ADCC move to Jones' competition, including UFC star Mackenzie Dern.
The CJI will take place on 16-17 Aug. in Las Vegas, and the newly-created tournament has ruffled the feathers of the ADCC organizers.
