Dana White discusses the importance of holding UFC 306 at Las Vegas Sphere: "You've never experienced anything like this"

Since the UFC announced that Noche UFC 306 would be held at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Dana White has done his best to promote the event as one of the crowning moments of his career. With just one week remaining until fight night, White continued his promotion of the event by making an appearance on ESPN's First Take.

On the show, White sat down with hosts Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim. The UFC CEO gushed about his plans for the event, calling it "groundbreaking" and saying that there is "nothing like" The Sphere in terms of hosting sports events.

White said:

"If you haven't experienced The Sphere, there's nothing like it. You've never experienced anything like this in your life before... This is where sports and entertainment truly come together for the first time ever. I think that this will be a groundbreaking event where other leagues will look at this and start thinking about all the things that are possible."

In everything that has occurred to put the event together, White called the event a "one and done" and something the UFC will never do again.

After appearing on First Take to promote Noche UFC 306, White filmed an Instagram video for the ESPN social media accounts. In the video, the 55-year-old said the event would literally be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

White said:

"Noche UFC this Saturday night live from The Sphere... This is going to be a one-of-one, one and done, never done again event. It is a love letter to the Mexican people on Mexican Independence Day. Do not miss it."
