Dana White explains why Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway fight is "terrible" for him ahead of UFC 308
Dana White recently commented on the upcoming title fight between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway at UFC 308. Given his good relationship with both fighters, White has claimed he'd "hate" to see either of them lose.
During his recent appearance on the Outta Pocket podcast, White discussed the Topuria vs. Holloway title fight, labeling it "terrible" as he likes both featherweights.
''This Topuria vs. Holloway fight is terrible because when you like both guys and they actually have to go in there and somebody has to lose, it sucks. Max Holloway is one of the greatest ever to do it, one of the nicest dudes and he has the BMF belt and he is a BMF and Topuria has been an absolute rock star. It's going to be a fun fight. I hate to see somebody lose that fight.''

Topuria captured the featherweight title at UFC 298 earlier this year with a stunning knockout victory over Alexander Volkanovski. 'El Matador' will look to defend his title for the first time at UFC 308 on October 26 in Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Holloway is fresh off his iconic UFC 300 win, a last-second KO against Justin Gaethje for the BMF title. 'Blessed' will look to reclaim the 145-pound strap he lost to Volkanovski back in 2019.
