Dana White gets candid about Donald Trump assassination attempt after 30-minute phone call with the ex-president
Dana White recently opened up about his lengthy conversation with Donald Trump after the former POTUS survived an assassination attempt. White lauded Trump as the "ultimate American bada*s" and heaped praise on the real estate mogul's resilience in the face of fatal danger.
Last weekend, Trump addressed a large crowd at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. During the event, a sniper positioned on a nearby rooftop fired at the former POTUS and attempted to assassinate him. However, the bullet missed Trump and grazed his upper right ear. The 78-year-old was immediately rushed by Secret Service agents and taken to safety.
Given that Trump and White share a close relationship, it's no surprise that the UFC president got to speak to the former POTUS after the harrowing event. During a recent conversation with ESPN's Pat McAfee, White recalled speaking to Trump and said:
"He is one of the toughest, most resilient guys I have ever met in my life... Everybody wants to act like a tough guy, well when the s**t goes down, you find out who tough guys are and who tough guys are not. This guy is the legitimate, ultimate American bada** of all time."
White continued:
"I called him as soon as I landed, he was already home from the hospital. We talked for 30 minutes... I'm telling you, I have never known a human being like this in my life. He's literally the toughest, most bada** guy of all time."

MMA influencer Nina-Marie Daniele recently expressed her appreciation for Dana White and Donald Trump by drawing a unique comparison between them. 'Nina Drama' also revealed that she'll be at the Republican National Convention to support both men.
In a recent post on X, Daniele reacted to Trump's assassination attempt and called the former POTUS a "real BMF" for his bravery. She wrote:
"I will be at the Republican National Convention next week to support my two favorite Presidents. Donald Trump and Dana White. Two men who have never backed down and ever shown fear or weakness in the heart of any storm. Two men who have defied all odds and stayed true to themselves regardless of what anyone has ever said against their character. The definition of a real leader and a real BMF.”
