Dana White leaves Nina-Marie Daniele swooning with Jon Jones comparison: "Best compliment ever"
Dana White recently complimented UFC content creator and social media influencer Nina-Marie Daniele by comparing her to none other than the great Jon Jones. As the UFC CEO often asserts, 'Bones' is the greatest fighter of all time, and according to him, Daniele is the greatest content creator of all time.
White said so on Instagram, which prompted Daniele to repost his praise on her official Instagram story. She further highlighted it as one of the best compliments she has ever received, while tagging White on the story.
"Best compliment ever"
White's words continue his relentless trend of showering Jones with praise at every turn. This is, in large part, due to fan backlash to the upcoming heavyweight title bout between 'Bones' and Stipe Miocic, and the former's widely publicized refusal to face Tom Aspinall, who is the division's interim champion.
Moreover, fans have also grown frustrated with Jones' inactivity, which is due to a severe pectoral tendon he had suffered last year. In his absence, the MMA world has taken to crowning other fighters ahead of Jones in the pound-for-pound debate, much to White's charge-in.
His unfailing devotion to Jones and endless stream of compliments have become something of a meme in the MMA content space on social media. Even Jones has returned the favor to White, praising him as the greatest businessman in the world.
Many, however, continue to be disatisfied with the booking of Jones vs. Miocic. In the meantime, Aspinall will watch the bout as its backup fighter.
Dana White has complimented Nina-Marie Daniele before as well
In late 2023, Dana White took to Instagram to tag Nina-Marie Daniele on his Instagram story, where he praised her coverage of the UFC. In fact, White hailed her as the most talented person covering the UFC, period. Naturally, Daniele shared White's praise of her online.
"The most talented person covering and creating UFC content @ninamariedaniele."
It is worth noting that Nina-Marie Daniele never criticizes the promotion, even, while covering the controversial Power Slap League. Daniele's stance has likely landed her on White's good side.
