Dana White questions Donald Cerrone potentially coming out of retirement for UFC return: "What's left to prove?"
Dana White recently expressed his thoughts on Donald Cerrone considering coming out of retirement. White asserted that he did not want it to happen and inquired as to what Cerrone has left to prove.
In his latest social media post, Cerrone shared a clip of him working the pads and honing his grappling skills with jui-jitsu superstar Gordon Ryan. Along with that, the 41-year-old issued a message to his fans, announcing that he is coming out of retirement to complete 50 combined fights in the UFC and WEC.
"I want to go back and get two more fights. When I retired, I told you I was getting my hair done and get on steroids. The number 50 [has] been sitting at my mind for a while..,The last two years taking TRT and a bunch of peptides. Now we got a protocol for all you people that, 'Oh what if you get on you can never come off?' Well, I now have to come off and piss clean. Fight in a few months. So watch this."

Following 'Dana White's Contender Series' post-fight press conference, White was asked about Cerrone possibly coming out of retirement. The UFC CEO responded, seemingly unentertained by the news, saying:
''I hate it. Love him [Cerrone], hate that. He retired, it's just for what? What's left to prove?...it's just there's nothing left to prove for him...If it's about money, he can do something else. Cause he ain't gonna fight for the rest of his life, he's always gonna need to make money. So let's figure that out now instead of three years from now.''

Dana White addresses the UFC ranking system
In a prior interview with Kevin Iole, Dana White voiced his dissatisfaction with the UFC ranking system and pledged to use the newest technologies to solve it.
In the aforementioned DWCS post-fight press conference, White revealed that he will meet with certain people who have a solution to the issue. He said:
''I just can’t handle incompetence. I just can’t take it anymore. It’s driving me crazy...Tomorrow, I have a meeting with a group of people who are coming to me saying they have a solution to this problem. God, I hope they are right. Because I’m going to change it.'' [7:39]
