Dana White readily pays $100 to a reporter for guessing a phone call he received about Sean O'Malley
A question posed to UFC president Dana White regarding the title fight between Sean O'Malley and current bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling led to a humorous interaction during the UFC Vegas 73 post-fight press conference.
White was asked whether the bantamweight title fight was still on for UFC 292. The UFC president went on to share that he received a phone call from a certain fighter, saying that Sterling would drop out of the fight.
White then asked the journalists in attendance to guess the name of the fighter in three attempts and offered to reward $100 to the person with the correct guess.
Journalist Amy Kaplan named Henry Cejudo as her first guess and hit the bullseye. The UFC president instantly got up and took out $100 from his pocket to give to Kaplan.

UFC president Dana White recently made several fight announcements, one of which was an exciting clash between Sean O'Malley and current bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling for UFC 292. The event is set to take place on August 19 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
However, during his recent appearance on Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour, Sterling stated that the August date might not work out for the 'Funk Master'.
Sterling's comments have started speculation among the MMA community as to whether the fight will become a reality or not. But at the UFC Vegas 73 press conference, White cleared the air, saying the fight was still on.
Sean O'Malley responds to Aljamain Sterling's comments on The MMA Hour
UFC's rising star Sean O'Malley has reacted to bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling's comments about August not being ideal for their fight. In a recent episode of The BroMalley Show, 'Suga' said that he will show up for the fight on August 19, regardless of whether his opponent is Sterling or someone else.
"I'm showing up August 19th, whether [Sterling] shows up or they put someone else in there. Daddy's main eventing, headlining for the belt regardless, whether it's [Sterling] or not."
