Dana White's first reaction to Noche UFC rehearsals at The Sphere as he admits getting into it "for the stress"

Dana White recently discussed the upcoming Noche UFC event at The Sphere and shared some insight into his state of mind heading into the highly anticipated weekend. White revealed that he wasn't stressed about the Mexican Independence Day celebratory event and emphasized rehearsing.

Noche UFC will be a unique event that has been described as White's "love letter" to Mexican fighters and their contribution to combat sports. The event will take place at The Sphere, an arena offering state-of-the-art audio and video features for an unmatched viewing experience.

This includes a 16K LED wraparound display that enables a fully immersive viewing experience, an incredible audio system designed to deliver HOLOPLOT-powered sound to every fan inside the arena, and a 4D seating system with live-action haptic feedback capabilities.

Given that the cost of putting on this event has touched the $20 million mark, many are wondering if it would all work out as planned. However, White isn't worried. In an interview with the Las Vegas Review Journal, he said:

"I got into this for the stress. Why would I have wanted to do this if I didn’t think it was going to be hard? That’s what makes it so fun. I love it. And we’re ready. We’re good to go. It’s just all about rehearsing and making sure it goes off seamlessly... I’m extremely confident. It’s going to be bada**. It really is." [H/t: Las Vegas Review Journal]

Dana White on potentially monetizing Noche UFC at The Sphere after the event

Dana White recently shared his thoughts on potentially monetizing the Noche UFC event at The Sphere even after the show concludes. The UFC CEO discussed repackaging the event's production and replaying it for future viewers.

During a recent appearance on ESPN's First Take show, White outlined his plans for the UFC 306 recordings and hoped his plans could be put into motion in a "perfect world" in the future. He said:

"In a perfect world for me, if this thing goes off the way I want it to on Saturday night, I think that we could re-package this and this could stay at The Sphere and be a show that people can come in and see for the rest of the year."
