Dana White's Power Slap League athlete payouts SHOCKINGLY low, reveals former UFC fighter who was offered a deal
Dana White's Power Slap League continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. In addition to slap fighting being a controversial sport, White's league is now drawing flak for shockingly low athlete payouts.
Former UFC middleweight Eric Spicely recently revealed the Power Slap League fighter salary, claiming to have received an offer from the promotion. According to 'Zebrinha', he was offered $2000 to show and $2000 win bonus for his debut outing in Dana White's slap fighting league. Spicely wrote on Twitter:
"I was contacted to do slap league, you guys would be shocked at how much it pays... First fight was 2k and 2k."

Longtime MMA analyst Luke Thomas also claimed to have seen evidence of Spicely getting an offer from Power Slap League.
For folks asking if Spicely was specifically invited to the Power Slap League, I followed up with him before posting. He said he was and showed me some evidence for his claims.
In subsequent tweets, 'Zebrinha' clarified that he passed on the offer, which he estimated was a three-fight contract. Spicely further added that the winner of the entire show is likely to receive a payout of $10,000.
Eric Spicely last fought in an MMA bout under the OKTAGON banner in September 2021, suffering a first-round TKO loss. He was released from the UFC on a four-fight losing streak after a weight-cutting fiasco led to a canceled bout against Markus Perez in August 2020.
Fans slam Dana White over Power Slap League fighter payouts
Dana White has been criticized from the very onset for venturing into a spot that has been senseless as it leaves fighters with no scope to defend themselves. White further became the center of controversy after being captured on camera slapping his wife on New Year's Eve.
Although the debut of Power Slap League was pushed back a week, it finally aired on TBS on January 18 producing several gut-wrenching visuals of fighters making themselves prone to head trauma.
If that weren't enough, Dana White has now fallen further from grace in the eyes of fans for offering shockingly low payouts to slap fighters. Fans wrote:
