Dana White says "there is a lot of work to do" on Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight

Dana White has finally spoken out about the highly awaited matchup between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.

Earlier this year, the UFC announced that the pair would not only be rival coaches for season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, but they would also be facing each other inside the octagon. In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the UFC president spoke about the fight and gave fans an update regarding the fight and which weight class it will take place in:

"Those guys are fifty-five pounders, but we don't what we're gonna do yet, we're still working on that, figuring that out. There's a lot of work to do on the Conor fight still."

He added:

"Yeah, yeah yeah, they are gonna fight, when isn't guaranteed. When, what weight class, what are these guys doing."

Both Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are filming for The Ultimate Fighter, season 31. The pair will then fight in what will mark McGregor's return to the octagon after he broke his leg in 2021 against Dustin Poirier. The fight will most likely take place in the second half of the year only after they finish shooting for TUF.
