Dana White shares four-word reaction to Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad’s performances at UFC 304

UFC CEO Dana White had little to say about the promotion's most recent pay-per-view event, headlined by a welterweight title clash between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad. The pair clashed at UFC 304 in Manchester, England, with the main event result coming as a surprise to many.

Edwards was the favorite entering his title fight against 'Remember the Name', with many expecting the Brit to continue the domination he displayed when they first fought at UFC Vegas 21. 'Rocky' wobbled Muhammad with a head kick early on in that fight and appeared to be hitting his groove before a brutal eye poke left the Chicago native unable to continue.

But fast-forward three years and it would be the title challenger who dominated the exchanges during their UFC 304 clash. The 36-year-old was more than competitive on the feet, and controlled most of the grappling sequences en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Following the fight, White appeared in front of the media, where he was asked for his thoughts on the performances of both main event fighters. He said:

"Wasn't a barn burner."

Dana White confirms UFC won't re-sign Muhammad Mokaev

Touted flyweight prospect and 13-0-1 fighter Muhammad Mokaev completed his contract with the world's biggest MMA promotion at UFC 304.

Mokaev faced off against fellow flyweight title prospect, Manel Kape, in the opening fight of the preliminary card. Their clash featured a fiery build-up, with the pair coming to blows on several occasions, most recently in the fighter hotel ahead of UFC 304.

'The Punisher' secured a unanimous decision victory over Kape, much to the Angolan-Portuguese fighter's frustration. Mokaev was hoping his performance would be enough to convince Dana White to re-sign him, which doesn't appear to be the case.

White appeared in front of the media following the pay-per-view event, where he was asked about re-signing the flyweight. He said:

"The matchmakers aren't big fans of [Mokaev's]... He's not under contract [with the UFC] anymore... I think the PFL is gonna get a great undefeated guy. Good luck to him." [6:45-7:30 in Dana White's aforementioned interview]
