While White's homage to Mexico reportedly cost a whopping $20 million to produce, it appears his investment paid off. In a recent Instagram post, the UFC CEO posted a screenshot of a DM that the promotion's head of production, Craig Borsari, received from a Mexican fan after the event. The post read:

"Can't stop thinking about Noche UFC. It was very meaningful to me because there are not many instances when the Mexican culture and people are paid tribute and portrayed in such an elevated and respectful way. It was a beautifully executed production of sport, art, entertainment, and education that I have never seen done anywhere, ever. So proud of you and grateful to the UFC for recognizing the beauty and contributions of Mexico."

White also shared a story about meeting a Mexican family at the airport in the post's caption, writing:

"I have been getting texts nonstop since Saturday and people walking up to me in the street saying amazing things about #NocheUFC. Today a family from Mexico approached me at the Airport and literally made my day with all the things they said about them flying here to see the show. This text was sent to @craig_borsari, our head of production, and I had to post it. Thank you everyone!! I’m glad the Mexican people loved the Tribute on Mexican Independence Day."

Dana White slams Sean O'Malley's "flat" performance at UFC 306

Dana White recently shared his thoughts on Sean O'Malley's performance at UFC 306, and it's safe to say the UFC CEO wasn't pleased. O'Malley lost the 135-pound strap to Merab Dvalishvili after getting dominated for five rounds.

In a post-fight presser, White broke down O'Malley's performance and opined the Montana native's inactivity may have cost him the fight. He said:

"He looked flat. He didn’t look sharp. He didn’t look crisp until the last round. He hurt him with that body shot, and he knew he hurt him with the body shot, and he kept going in trying to finish. But I looked at the punch stats, it was like six in a couple of the rounds." [H/t: MMA Fighting]
