Dana White threatens media over Jorge Masvidal - Kevin Holland altercation
UFC president Dana White has threatened the media over an altercation between Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland.
Leading up to UFC 287, Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland were involved in a heated argument and had to be separated by security before things could escalate. In the pre-fight press conference, both Holland and Masvidal were asked about the same, however, the questions were shut down by Dana White.
Speaking about the altercation between Kevin Holland and Jorge Masvidal, the UFC president made it known that questions from the media tend to instigate the fighters and it creates a big ruckus backstage. He said:
"Well the reason why I don't want you guys talking about other fighters is, guys, we're fu*king two days before a fight, he's not fighting Jorge Masvidal. Whatever they got into, whatever, first off all, it creates sh*t backstage and at the hotels right? When you guys ask them questions like that and they say something, we still got two days until the fight and these guys run into each other."
Dana White added:
"I get it, you want your fu*king clicks or whatever it is you guys want to get, your little fu*king moment that you can post but I will fu*king attack you if you do that, you know what I mean? It just causes a lot of bullsh*t backstage and at the hotel."

Jorge Masvidal vs. Kevin Holland: How did their beef start?
Kevin Holland's striking coach, Durwyn Lamb, has given details of the altercation between Jorge Masvidal and Holland in the build-up to UFC 287.
During an interview with InsideFighting, Durwyn Lamb stated that Kevin Holland's beef stemmed from Jorge Masvidal's backstage scuffle with Leon Edwards and an alleged sneak attack on Colby Covington in Miami. While suggesting that Holland was a fan of Masvidal before his altercations, Lamb said:
"Kevin actually kind of liked Masvidal before that, but I think what happened was is that [Kevin] didn't like the sucker punch deal with the Leon [Edwards] stuff. [Kevin] didn't like the stuff with Colby Covington, and it just kind of rubbed him the wrong way... Some words [were] exchanged online back and forth and then they ran into each other here... [Kevin] didn't like that persona, the way [Masvidal] was carrying himself."
