Dana White vows to step in after "do-nothing motherf***ers" deny Khalil Rountree Jr. a bump in rankings despite UFC 307 show

Dana White has been critical of the UFC ranking system on numerous occasions. This time, White was upset with Khalil Rountree Jr.'s placement in the light heavyweight division, despite his impressive performance at UFC 307.

Rountree Jr., who was ranked No. 8 in the light heavyweight division before entering his title fight against Alex Pereira at UFC 307 earlier this month, hasn't moved up the rankings and remained at the exact spot despite putting up a commendable performance.

White was enraged by that and bashed the people in charge of the UFC rankings in his latest Instagram story. The UFC CEO then asserted that he would attempt to resolve the matter this week. Championship Rounds shared White's remarks on X, quoting him as saying:

''The morons strike again. Khalil Rountree fights that bada** fight against Pereira, and the morons rank him No. 8. Literally this week I have a meeting to try to fix the rankings and get all these know-nothing, do-nothing motherf***ers out of it. So, hopefully this week I get this fixed.''

Notably, in an interview with My Mom's Basement with Robbie Fox last month, White questioned the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings system for failing to acknowledge Jon Jones as the world's best fighter.

He also voiced his surprise at Max Holloway's lightweight ranking, despite the latter securing a devastating knockout of No. 3 ranked Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.

Dana White Promises to fix the UFC ranking system with latest technology

Renato Moicano was dissatisfied with his current UFC ranking. Despite his impressive knockout victory over No. 12-ranked Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris, the Brazilian remained at No. 11.

In an interview with Kevin Iole before UFC 307, Dana White was asked about Moicano's comments on the UFC rankings. In response, the 55-year-old endorsed Moicano and pledged to use the newest technologies to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

He said:

''Me too, that makes the two of us...I gotta find some media guys that know the fight sport, that understand the sport of fighting, that are actually doing the rankings, so the rankings are definitely a problem. But don't worry, my friend, AI will be here soon and this will all be fixed. We get all of these b*ms that know nothing about fighting out of this sh*t, and get AI in here and we can fix all these rankings."
