Danial Williams open to getting back inside the ring as soon as possible: “I’m always gonna put on a show”
Danial Williams finally returns to the winning column after a tough four-fight skid, and now, he wants more. The Australian successfully secured a victory over Banma Douji in their catchweight MMA clash by keeping his opponent standing.
Prior to that crucial fight, Williams had no wins in his last four outings, although two of them were indeed tough opponents in ONE world champions Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Jonathan Di Bella.
But after getting his hands raised in a very close fight, Williams spoke to Nick Atkins about the possibility of having one more fight with ONE Championship before this year ends.
He said:
"That would be nice. Like I said, whatever ONE Championship wants me to do. I don’t mind sitting on the sidelines because I can work on my skills. But whenever I get a fight, it excites me."
However, the striking specialist wants to participate in a stand-up fight:
"I’m always gonna put on a show. Just happy to be back in the ring. Muay Thai next!"
Given his performance in keeping Banma standing all the way, Danial Williams will surely be another barnburner fight against any top competitor in Muay Thai.

Danial Williams stays true to the process in his martial arts journey
Having to endure four consecutive losses would most likely break any fighter, but this is not the case for Danial Williams.
The resilient striker kept putting his best work and continued to be fully dedicated in his craft. Finally, he flipped the script by defeating Banma Douji at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II earlier this month.
In the same interview with Nick Atkin, the 31-year-old shared how he had to be extremely patient in enduring the hardships before he gets the crucial victory, saying:
"I had to really be patient in this fight cause in a lot of my fights, I just want to go in there [and mix it up]. And that’s why I do want to chase a Muay Thai fight next because it's the one sport I haven’t stopped training."
North American fans can relive all the actions at ONE Fight Night 25 for free and on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
