Daniel Dubois says Anthony Joshua has gone missing since their fight; discusses potential rematch with ‘AJ’
Daniel Dubois handed Anthony Joshua a thudding defeat when the pair met in the ring on 21 Sept. for the IBF heavyweight title. 'DDD' secured a fifth-round knockout win, dropping his opponent numerous times en route to victory. Following the result, there were discussions of a rematch between the pair for February, which have not materialized.
Dubois will instead face Joseph Parker in the co-main event of The Last Crescendo on Feb. 22 for the IBF title, with the card being headlined by an epic rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.
The 27-year-old is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the much anticipated Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch. He was interviewed by iFL TV during a pre-fight event, where he discussed his failed second bout with 'AJ', saying this:
"No, I wasn't losing any sleep over [the Anthony Joshua rematch]. Maybe that fight can happen again down the line, who knows. We still haven't found 'AJ' yet, so who knows. Bring him on. But right now I'm looking for the undisputed, the winner of [Usyk vs. Fury]. Taking one of them. Big things."

Anthony Joshua's promoter lists the only two fights left for him in boxing
Anthony Joshua doesn't have many fights left in his career, according to longtime promoter Eddie Hearn, who recently shared the list of potential opponents for his return to the ring.
According to Hearn, his client's next opponent could be determined by the outcome of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2, which takes place on Dec 21. Outside of a potential clash with 'The Gypsy King', the Matchroom Boxing chairman indicated a rematch with Daniel Dubois would be a fight worth pursuing.
Hearn was recently interviewed by talkSPORT boxing, where he discussed Joshua's fighting future, saying this:
"If Fury were to win, we have a chance to make Fury against 'AJ' for the unified world heavyweight championship. Which will be the biggest fight in the sport. If he loses, we still have the chance to make 'AJ' versus Fury... Or Tyson Fury could lose and you never see him again."
He continued:
"For us, with the 'AJ' hat on, there's only really two fights for him in boxing. One is a Daniel Dubois rematch, and one is a Tyson Fury fight. I don't think there's interest in us having an interim fight."
