Danny Kingad confident he has "the perfect game plan" to break even with Adriano Moraes: "I've trained everything"
Danny Kingad believes he has done everything he can in preparation for one of the biggest fights of his career.
The flyweight contender has already faced off with many of the top contenders in his weight class. With this longevity comes the opportunity for rematches and in this case, it suits Kingad very well.
At ONE 169 on Nov. 8, he will square off with former champion Adriano Moraes for a second time under the ONE Championship banner.
It has been six years since the pair last locked horns and 'The King' came up short that time around after being submitted in the first round.
Now, with plenty of time to prepare, he's been taking all the right steps to ensure that he's ready and focused on getting the job done at Lumpinee Stadium.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Danny Kingad spoke about his preparations and how he's looking straight ahead:
"I feel like I'll adjust well in this fight. I've trained everything. I think it all boils down to formulating a perfect game plan and executing it to perfection."
Danny Kingad will need to be at the top of his game
If there was ever a fight that he needs to be at the top of his game for, it might be this one for Danny Kingad.
That's not to say that he hasn't had big fights in the past but this one could change the trajectory of his career in a positive way.
The Filipino contender has always been a well-respected competitor at flyweight but beating a former champion in Moraes would take him to another level.
This is especially true considering the current status of the division where it is without a world champion following the retirement of Demetrious Johnson back at ONE 168: Denver in September.
