Danny Kingad shares early Demetrious Johnson vs. Adriano Moraes trilogy prediction
Demetrious Johnson will attempt to keep the ONE flyweight world championship wrapped around his waist as he once again goes to war with division rival Adriano Moraes. The pair will meet in a highly anticipated trilogy bout at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
Much like their two previous meetings, this one will have a historic backdrop as it will be ONE Championship’s first event in the United States. Emanating from the 1STBANK Center in Colorado, the event is expected to be stacked for ONE's long-awaited North American debut.
Discussing the massive main event with The MMA Superfan, flyweight contender Danny Kingad believes Demetrious Johnson will have the advantage of competing on home soil and, as a result, will emerge victorious in front of a raucous American audience:
“Yeah, I feel that DJ will have the home court advantage because of the American crowd... He has the full support of the crowd behind him. For me, it’s still DJ. That’s my early prediction. DJ by decision.”
Kingad’s prediction of a decision finish does come as a bit of a surprise considering the spectacular KOs delivered by each fighter in previous meetings. Moraes handed ‘Mighty Mouse’ his first career knockout loss with a well-placed knee in April 2021.
Sixteen months later, Johnson got his revenge, knocking out Moraes with his own flying knee in the fourth round of their ONE on Prime Video 1 showdown.

‘Super’ Sage Northcutt is excited to see Demetrious Johnson headline ONE Fight Night 10
As ONE Championship heads to the United States for its 10th Amazon Prime Video event on May 5, they’ll break out as many big guns as possible for what is sure to be an epic night of fights.
Returning to the circle after nearly four years on the sidelines is ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt. The photogenic scrapper is excited to get back to work, but he’s also excited to share the night with pound-for-pound great Demetrious Johnson.
Speaking to ONE Championship shortly after revealing his return to action, Northcutt shared his excitement over the promotion’s U.S. debut:
“You have an incredible fighter, Demetrious Johnson, headlining the card, so the card’s gonna be super exciting, especially for the first card in the U.S. I’m so excited.”
Sage Northcutt will take on Pakistani MMA champion Ahmed Mujtaba as part of the event. Mujtaba is currently riding a three-fight win streak and holds a respectable 10-2 overall record in mixed martial arts competition.
