Demetrious Johnson breaks down Andrew Tate’s boxing in new reaction video

Demetrious Johnson continues to grow his virtual platform and his latest YouTube reaction video was all about the infamous Andrew Tate.

‘Mighty Mouse’ is preparing for his first defense of the ONE flyweight world title when he takes on Adriano Moraes at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video at 1stBank Center in Colorado on May 5 US primetime.

ONE Fight Night 10 is free for all North American subscribers of Prime Video.

Though he’s a bit busy getting in the first steps for his world title defense, Johnson always got the time to further his brand in the virtual space. The American legend posted a reaction video about Tate “sparring” against someone in what appears to be a home studio.

Demetrious Johnson said:

“We got the main man right now, who’s on fire Andrew Tate. Used to be a professional kickboxer, he’s going through some issues right now but I saw it and thought ‘I’m gonna break this one down.’ The first thing that came to my mind is ‘holy s*** he is huge’ so let’s watch it.”

Johnson wasn’t all that highly impressed with the way Tate boxed and even gave some tips to smaller fighters on how they should operate against taller opponents.

Tate is listed at 6ft3 while the person he was sparring with appeared to be a head shorter than him. This made the former professional kickboxer try to paw the shots away, a bit of action that Johnson carefully broke down:

“He keeps on pawing. When you see someone who keeps on pawing, you feint hard and you come up super hard with the left hook.”

Demetrious Johnson calls Tate "legit"

Before Tate became this polarizing figure on the internet, the American-British fighter was a rather successful kickboxer. While there are conflicting accounts of his kickboxing record, Tate did become a two-division champion in ISKA.

The video that Demetrious Johnson reacted to also caught a glimpse of Tate’s display case that had a few belts in it:

“Look at all those f****** belts, so Tate’s legit when it comes to kickboxing.”

Johnson added:

“That was Andrew Tate if you guys like this reaction. When I saw it I was ‘I’m gonna break this one down.’ I heard that he’s a professional kickboxer and you know he’s a big sensation on the Internet so I’m gonna break this down.”
