Demetrious Johnson breaks down his flying knee finish of Adriano Moraes with Wakandan Savage
At ONE on Prime Video 1, Demetrious Johnson secured his revenge over Adriano Moraes with the best knockout of his career.
After a closely contested fight, Johnson hurt his opponent in the fourth round and followed up with a perfectly timed flying knee to finish Moraes and claim the ONE flyweight world championship.
Now tied one win apiece, with both holding highlight-reel knockout wins, Moraes and Johnson will conclude their trilogy in the main event of ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
A pair of perfectly timed knee strikes have been the only thing that has separated the two flyweight greats to date. In their trilogy fight, everything is to play for. As Johnson looks to add another signature win to his hall of fame career, Moraes will try to become the first man to beat ‘Mighty Mouse’ twice.
In a recent Instagram video posted by Wakandan Savage, Johnson broke down his flying knee finish in their last meeting, talking through how he set it up in the moment:
“Lots of training. I saw him, I hit him with the right hand and I saw him, you know, going backwards and I just lined up my right feet to the southpaw position and once he hit that cage I just jumped in it, threw everything I had in it man.”
