Demetrious Johnson’s YouTube channel gets silver 100,000 subscribers plaque

Demetrious Johnson has never been afraid to talk about the things that he is passionate about. Whilst martial arts is obviously a huge passion of his, gaming is right up there with it.

Through his YouTube and Twitch channels, ‘Mighty Mouse’ has been able to turn his pastime into entertainment that will keep him busy long after he has stepped away from professional competition.

In a recent Instagram post, Johnson revealed that he's received his silver plaque from YouTube for reaching 100,000 subscribers.

In the video, DJ thanks his fans for their continued support over the years and even says that gaming is a bigger passion than MMA in his life because it’s been a part of it since he was a child.

On his channel, Johnson regularly posts highlights from his Twitch streams as well as extra content. Recently, ‘Mighty Mouse’ has started to post more videos away from his streams, including footage of him and Henry Cejudo training, as well as his reactions and breakdowns of fights.

Whilst he would be playing games with or without an audience, his platforms give his fans an opportunity to really connect with one of the greatest of all time and be a part of a community.

At ONE on Prime Video 10, scheduled for May 2023, Johnson will face one of his toughest opponents for a third time when he concludes his trilogy with Adriano Moraes.

Former rivals Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo have struck up a great training relationship in recent times.

The pair came together to train ahead of DJ’s second fight with Adriano Moraes at ONE on Prime Video 1. They recently got back to training together and appear to have a fantastic relationship in the gym that helps them both improve.

On Johnson’s YouTube channel, 'Mighty Gaming', a new video was posted that shows the two elite competitors training together and drilling techniques, with both men learning skills and sequences from each other.

Watching both Henry Cejudo and Demetrious Johnson teach each other, whether it’s 'Triple C' demonstrating wrestling setups or ‘Mighty Mouse’ drilling submission routines, is a sight to behold.

The video's title suggests that Henry Cejudo will have a fight announced soon after saying that he is preparing for a matchup. Demetrious Johnson’s first ONE flyweight title defense was recently announced for May, when he will face Adriano Moraes in the culmination of their trilogy.

Henry Cejudo, on the other hand, has been out of competition for over two and a half years after he defeated Dominick Cruz and announced his retirement. A fight with current UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has been rumored for Cejudo’s return and he certainly looks like he is gearing up for a comeback in the video.
