Denice Zamboanga says Stamp already showed the blueprint on how to beat Alyona Rassohyna: “It really helps a lot"
Denice Zamboanga was in pure awe when Stamp Fairtex made the proper adjustments to get even with her tormentor Alyona Rassohyna.
'The Menace', who's set to duke it out with the Ukrainian grappling specialist for the interim atomweight MMA crown, vows to use Stamp's blueprint to victory to get things done.
The Thai superstar is still recovering from knee surgery, paving the way for an interim title bout at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video on Jan. 10 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is worth noting that Rassohyna submitted Stamp in a controversial manner back in their first meeting in 2021.
Denice Zamboanga witnessed firsthand Stamp's preparations for the rematch, where she was able to avenge that loss with a dominant performance.
Speaking in an interview with The MMA Superfan, the Filipina warrior is confident that she can replicate her former training partner's feat and come out victorious at ONE Fight Night 27:
"It really helps a lot that I trained with Stamp before and I will face someone who she fought before because I will get to compare both of their skills. I think seeing how Stamp can outstrike her and how she defended against takedowns and submissions really helps a lot in my own preparations."

Denice Zamboanga's ground game will be tested like never before
Denice Zamboanga is one of the most well-rounded female fighters in the promotion. As her nickname suggests, the 27-year-old is a menace both on her feet and on the ground.
However, Zamboanga will now be facing arguably the most accomplished grappler in the 115-pound division.
Alyona Rassohyna is a proven finisher, with 11 of her 13 career victories coming by submission.
The 34-year-old is particularly adept at locking up armbars from any position, and Zamboanga cannot afford to be reckless once the fight hits the mats.
