Denis Puric says Rodtang will become a true "monster" if he gets proper guidance: "You need the right people around you"
Second-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender Denis Puric believes Rodtang Jitmuangnon can reach even greater heights by making one simple adjustment.
Following a gritty three-round kickboxing war against 'The Iron Man' at ONE 167 earlier this month, Puric has developed an affinity for his former foe. They event went on to spend some time together as friends, rather than foes.
In the 'Bosnian Menace's' own words, Rodtang became his "brother for life."
Now that he considers the Thai megastar a close ally, Puric made it clear that he only wants the best for him.
Speaking to Nick Atkin of Sportskeeda MMA, the 39-year-old veteran said that it is imperative that Rodtang finds a specialist who could address his weight and conditioning issues.
As far as Puric is concerned, it's the only thing holding the flyweight Muay Thai king back from achieving his true potential. Puric said:
"He doesn't have the right guidance. Like, you know, at this level you need the right people around you. Not saying that he doesn't, he just needs people who will help him with these problems that he's having with these weight cuts and the nutrition. Imagine if he was eating right and things like that? [He'll be a] monster."
Rodtang, of course, took a lot of heat after missing weight for his showdown with Puric. Still, the 26-year-old striker put on a commendable performance and took home the victory in their catchweight battle.

Rodtang's fighting days are far from over, and Puric believes he could go down in history as the greatest of all time when it's all said and done.
In the same Sportskeeda MMA interview, 'The Bosnian Menace' said 'The Iron Man' must simply learn from his mistakes and follow his destiny:
"He already is [great]. But he can be better. He can be the best. If he does all that [preparation], he'll kill everybody."
