Did Tyson Fury's uncle lead a drug trafficking network? Exploring the grave allegations

Tyson Fury is arguably one of the biggest names in the world of combat sports. The WBC boxing heavyweight champion has cemented himself as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Interestingly, the mentor behind Fury's rise to the top was once Britain's one of the most feared crime lords. Peter Fury, once built an extensive illegal drug empire in the North West of England.

Born into a family of travelers, Peter Fury built a stronghold in Stockport, Greater Manchester, where he oversaw the dealing of the lethal drug amphetamine. In 1995, he was jailed for 10 years for possession and intent to supply. However, he continued orchestrating his business from behind bars.

In 2008 Tyson Fury's uncle got another two years for drug-related money laundering. In 2012, a court ordered him to pay back the assets and funds he had hidden from the court. Peter Fury had set up his drugs business in an industrial unit in rural Helmshore and imported 66 percent pure amphetamine from Belgium, cut it, and then distributed it.

Tyson Fury details his plans to get a KO against Francis Ngannou

'The Gypsy King' is set to return to the squared circle later this weekend against Francis Ngannou. With the bout being Ngannou's boxing debut, it has received a lot of backlash as many believe it's going to be a rather one-sided contest. On the flip side, there are some who believe the former UFC heavyweight can cause Fury some problems.

Speaking about his fight against Francis Ngannou, Tyson Fury detailed how he intends to get a KO victory during a recent face-to-face uploaded on TNT Sports' YouTube channel. He said:

“Shall I tell you how I’m going to do it? Got on the front foot, high arms, siccing him with a punishing jab, 19, 20 stone in the face boom, boom, boom bust him up, swell his eyes out, and then feint, slip, bang. KO. On the front foot, not running away. On the front foot, hand [guarding my] eye, let him hit the shoulder, slip, slip, bang, slip, slip, bang down in a heap. Listen, no one can take my power. Nobody. These heavyweights don’t have a chance.”
