Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki purses: How much did the boxers make in their previous fights?

The Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki fight pits a rising star against a rugged veteran. A win for Pacheco would add a respectable name to his résumé, whereas Sulecki winning would help revitalize his career.

Speaking of the Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki purses, Pacheco is viewed as the bigger star of the duo and heralded by many as a future champion. Supported by the formidable promotional machine of Matchroom Boxing, Pacheco could likely bag a bigger payout than Sulecki.

Pacheco defeated Marcelo Coceres via ninth-round KO to retain the WBO International and USWBC super middleweight championships in Inglewood, California, in Nov. 2023.

Per the CSAC (California State Athletic Commission), Pacheco was to earn a guaranteed purse of $62.5k. Coceres' guaranteed purse was to be $37.5k. Dan Rafael reported the same while asserting that his source noted that Pacheco's guaranteed purse was $125k.

The aforementioned amounts were the minimum payouts that they were expected to receive. Generally, fighters are accorded bonuses, perks, and other undisclosed amounts in addition to the estimated/reported purses.

In his most recent fight, in April 2024, Pacheco retained the WBO International and USWBC super middleweight titles with a unanimous decision victory over Shawn McCalman. Before that fight, NY Fights estimated Pacheco's payout for it at a minimum of $150k and McCalman's at approximately $100k.

Moreover, as reported by ESPN, Sulecki earned around $400k in his unanimous decision defeat against then-WBO middleweight (160-pound) champion Demetrius 'Boo Boo' Andrade (who bagged $1.5 million) in June 2019. Sulecki has competed in and won four fights since, but the Andrade matchup remains his most recent high-profile fight.
