Stephen Thompson believes Leon Edwards has to find "some other way" to beat Kamaru Usman in a rematch
Leon Edwards stunned the MMA world with a stunning fifth-round head-kick KO win over Kamaru Usman at UFC 278. The two are now likely to meet in a rematch in front of the champions' home fans in England next year.
Stephen Thompson recently weighed in on a potential trilogy fight between Usman and Edwards. While 'Wonderboy' favors Usman, he is also aware of Edwards' fight-ending ability.
However, the welterweight contender believes that 'Rocky' will have to find a different way to finish Usman in the trilogy clash. Stephen Thompson told timesnownews.com:
"On paper, I will still have Usman because he was winning in the last fight but until he lost it but not saying Edwards cannot do it again he has to do it some other way this time to win."
