Dillon Danis picks his winner for Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry, announces bet slip giveaway of potential $21,000 cashout

Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis has placed a significant bet on Mike Perry ahead of this weekend's highly anticipated clash with Jake Paul.

The eight-round cruiserweight bout between Paul and Perry will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida after the YouTuber's originally planned fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson was postponed until November.

Paul, undefeated in his professional boxing career barring a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury, has garnered attention for inclining more towards retired MMA fighters than professional boxers as opponents. He has so far defeated stars like Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz.

Perry, on the other hand, boasts a successful record in bare-knuckle boxing, amassing victories against notable names like Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez. He also brings experience from his seven-year MMA career, primarily under the UFC banner.

Fueling the pre-fight hype, Dillon Danis declared his support for Perry on social media, confidently stating:

“Mike Perry beats Jake Paul EASY 🥊”

Danis doubled down on his prediction by sharing a betting slip revealing a $5,000 wager on Perry, potentially netting him a $21,000 payout if 'Platinum' emerges victorious.

Mike Perry might return to MMA to face Dillon Danis

While prepping to box Jake Paul, Mike Perry revealed he was also considering a return to MMA to fight Dillon Danis.

Perry, a bare-knuckle boxing standout with BKFC, hadn't competed in MMA since 2021. However, he expressed interest in an MMA matchup with Danis after witnessing the grappler's lackluster boxing performance against Logan Paul.

Speaking to MMA Fighting, he said:

“I definitely owe BKFC... I’ve definitely got to get back in there for them. They do have some plans to bring me back by the end of the year. They might already have an idea who that’s going to be and I go in there and perform against Jake Paul, the possibilities are endless. I could fight Dillon Danis in MMA and do a BKFC fight, all before the end of the year or just chill out and just wait and see what happens, end up fighting Anthony Joshua or something after I beat Jake Paul in boxing.”
