Dillon Danis' fighting career so far

Although he continues to train and claims he will return to the cage, Dillon Danis has not competed in a sanctioned MMA fight since submitting Max Humphrey at Bellator 222 in 2019. He has since endured several injuries and has claimed to want to return to fighting but has yet to have another MMA fight confirmed.

The 31-year-old rose to fame as a grappling prodigy but his most recent competition took place in the boxing ring in October 2023. Danis lost to Logan Paul in his professional boxing debut by disqualification in the final round after getting out-pointed for the entire fight.

The semi-retired fighter was released by Bellator in late 2023 and campaigned to be signed by the UFC, a movement that gathered little to no momentum. Danis announced his retirement several times since his last MMA fight but continues to engage with other fighters on social media and tease a potential return.
