Following the fight announcement, Danis has posted videos of him sparring in the gym. However, looking at his boxing skills, the fighter was heavily trolled by the internet.

With the match date getting closer, 'El Jefe' recently shared a video of himself training for the upcoming bout. Unfortunately, his performance in the clip failed to impress viewers yet again.

Taking to his Twitter handle, KSI's trainer and pro boxer Viddal Riley reviewed the American's recent clip, calling him "The Worst Boxer". This clearly irritated Danis, who reacted quickly and threatened the pro-boxer. On his Twitter account, 'El Jefe' wrote:

"boxing isn’t half a fight remember that kid, i’d tear you limb for limb while you screamed for 911 in a real fight watch your mouth."

Dillon Danis reveals having to pay Bellator to let him fight KSI

Dillon Danis is currently under contract with Bellator, where he secured a 2-0 fight record before going on hiatus due to a serious injury. The fighter is now all set to make a comeback as a professional boxer and face KSI while still signed to Scott Coker's promotion.

With that being the case, Danis recently revealed that he had to pay the promotion in order to take the boxing fight

During an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, 'El Jefe' said:

"Showtime and DAZN are rivals so I had to pay a hefty fee. I don't know if I'm supposed to be talking about how much. I can say how much. I need my publicist. I don't want to get in trouble with [Bellator CEO Scott] Coker, but it's a lot of money. What I'm paying Coker to let me fight is more than probably everyone in the UFC."

Danis further clarified that he is still allowed to fight under Bellator after the boxing match:

"Not to let me out, I'm still with them. It would be different if it were with Showtime because, with Showtime, [Bellator has] a deal with them... [Coker] wants me to come back to MMA. His star. Obviously, there's no one in Bellator that's going to bring that kind of noise. Who brings that much hype?"
