"Don't mess with Nong-O" - Thai wrecking ball Nong-O brings out the big guns in chaotic finish of Alaverdi Ramazanov

There's a reason why people line up in droves to see Nong-O Hama fight in real-time at ONE Championship. The Muay Thai legend is one of the greatest strikers ever and holds one of the most impressive bantamweight resumes to date.

Despite being in all kinds of trouble against Russia's Alaverdi Ramazanov during their world title tilt, Nong-O proved he could dig deep when all hope was gone.

The Thai superstar threw some wild shots in the latter half of the match until finally catching Ramazanov with a stunning punch to the liver.

ONE Championship paid tribute to Nong-O's liver-shot KO with the caption:

"Don't mess with Nong-O. Will the former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion hand Kiamran Nabati his first loss at ONE Friday Fights 81?"

"My heart is still fighting" - Nong-O brushes off the idea of retirement

Nong-O is determined to set things straight after losing his coveted ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title to Jonathan Haggerty last year.

The living legend continues to be considered one of Muay Thai's greatest pound-for-pound strikers even without the belt. But Nong-O carries himself like a student, learning and growing after every match.

He hopes that the fans witness his comeback, as he brushes off any discussion of retirement.

Speaking to ONE, Nong-O said:

"In my opinion, my setbacks are something that can happen to any athlete. But my heart is still fighting. My body is still able to do it."
