'Fraud' Henry Cejudo trolled by Aljamain Sterling for claiming he has never carried a Mexican flag

Aljamain Sterling recently countered Henry Cejudo's claims of never having carried a Mexican flag.

'Funk Master' shared a fan edited video of Cejudo making the claim, followed by several images of 'Triple C' holding the Mexican flag. The UFC bantamweight champion wrote:

"The biggest fraud to ever win a UFC title 🤣 Own who you are. Don’t be a scumbag!"

Cejudo was recently invited as a guest speaker to an event called 'Friday Night Fight Night with Kari Lake' to show his support for the aspiring Arizona governor. The former UFC double champion, who's of Mexican descent, claimed that he will never be spotted with a Mexican flag as he is 'first and foremost' American.

Cejudo came under severe criticism from fans after his double standards got exposed. Breaking his silence on the topic, the 'King of Cring' said during a Q&A session on YouTube:

"I'm Mexican-American or American-Latino – however the hell you wanna call it. I got a bunch of stuff for, saying... You know what I mean, I'm American and I think people need to realize the fact that, you know, I am American with Mexican descent. Doesn't mean I'm a sellout. It just means I love my country this much."

Manager claims Henry Cejudo vs. Aljamain Sterling in confirmed for 2023

Henry Cejudo's name was dropped into the bantamweight title mix by Dana White out of the blue after UFC 280. However, Aljamain Sterling did not sound very enthusiastic about fighting Cejudo, dismissing him as irrelevant.

Cejudo then shifted his focus to an interim clash against Sean O'Malley, who also sounded dismissive of the former champion. Cejudo's manager Ali Abdelaziz has now suddenly claimed that 'Triple C' has been confirmed to fight Sterling in 2023, whether 'Funk Master' likes it or not.

The Dominance MMA CEO told The Underground's John Morgan:

“Aljo is fighting Henry Cejudo, it’s done. It’s done, the UFC said it’s done. He knows it’s done, and I understand he wants a different fight. But, the man never lost his belt. He’s a two-time champion, defended both belts, and he left on his own. He didn’t leave because he lost, or he was injured, he just needed time off.”
