Donald Trump breaks silence on whether he's appearing on Joe Rogan's podcast

Donald Trump has addressed Joe Rogan's JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast, touching upon the possibility of his long-awaited appearance on it. The former POTUS (President of the United States) suggested that he's likely to be featured on JRE soon.

A billionaire entrepreneur and reality TV star, the Republican Party's Trump reigned as the U.S. president from Jan. 20, 2017, to Jan. 20, 2021. He lost the 2020 elections to the current president, the Democratic Party's Joe Biden. In the 2024 elections, Trump is the Republican Party's presidential hopeful against the Democratic Party's presidential hopeful and current vice president Kamala Harris.

As for Joe Rogan, he's a veteran UFC color commentator who's also considered to be one of the world's most successful podcasters, courtesy of his JRE brand.

On the NELK Boys' Full Send Podcast, host Kyle Forgeard recently asked Donald Trump whether he'd appear on Joe Rogan's podcast:

"You're doing a lot of podcasts recently. One that I'd love to see you on is -- I think Joe Rogan has to have you on."

Trump responded by simply asserting:

"Yeah."

When asked if he'd appear on JRE, Trump replied:

"Oh, sure. I would ... I mean, I think I'm doing it, actually ... Yeah, I am ... Did Joe become so well-known because of the UFC? And he does a great job with that, right? What was it that made y'all the best?"

Kyle Forgeard alluded to Joe Rogan utilizing his JRE platform to criticize the alleged corruption in governance and other elements, locally and globally, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Forgeard suggested that he started following Rogan around that time because of how outspoken the MMA personality supposedly was about the purported corruption.

Forgeard appeared to end with a rhetorical question, noting that Rogan is "an honest guy." Trump answered by asserting:

"He is. Good guy ... He's got a good voice. That's important."

Joe Rogan's relationship with Donald Trump: From critical 2022 remarks to recent laudation

Joe Rogan has previously criticized both sides of the socio-political spectrum in his nation. The American is also known to share a fairly cordial relationship with Donald Trump, who happens to be a longstanding supporter of the UFC and an ardent combat sports fan.

Another variable at play in the Rogan-Trump situation is that back in 2022, Rogan appeared on Lex Fridman's podcast and famously asserted that he wasn't a Trump supporter and didn't want to "help him" (Trump) by hosting him on the JRE podcast.

Check out Rogan's 2022 remarks regarding Trump below:

Earlier this year, Rogan waxed lyrical about Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was an independent candidate in the 2024 U.S. presidential elections at the time. Trump reacted by lambasting the MMA personality on the Truth Social platform, even going as far as predicting that Rogan would be booed at the next UFC event.

Rogan clarified that he wasn't officially endorsing anyone. Kennedy eventually dropped out of the race and joined the Trump campaign. Trump too later implied that there wasn't "any tension" between him and Rogan.

Furthermore, on a recent JRE episode, the UFC color commentator waxed lyrical about Trump, 'RFK,' and Tulsi Gabbard for promoting the 'MAHA' (Make America Healthy Again) movement.
