Donald Trump indictment: Jorge Masvidal scares fans with the consequences of "left takeover"

Jorge Masvidal has always been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, even threatening to leave Twitter when the former president was banned from the platform.

'Gamebred' has once again come out in support of Trump as the former president stands on the brink of facing his first ever criminal charges. Leading up to the 2016 election, Trump's lawyer allegedly tried to buy the silence of a porn actress who had an encounter with the Republican.

Both Trump and his lawyer have been asked to testify before New York prosecutors next week.

According to Jorge Masvidal, the accusations against Trump are part of a communist conspiracy that has been witnessed repeatedly throughout history. 'Gamebred' also compared the allegations against Trump to the controversy surrounding former president Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

The UFC welterweight, whose father migrated from Fidel Castro's Cuba on a self-made raft, said in a recent video:

"Because my family has lived through it and history has told us that this is a plague right out of the communist playbook. What they're doing to president Trump has never been done before to a president. For the bs charges that the DA New York is bringing up is complete and utter nonsense. Just not too long ago, Bill Clinton got a 'bj' in the oval office and absolutely nothing happened."

He added:

"If we let them do this to Trump, they're gonna do this to you, me and anybody that opposes them. This has been done before in history and everytime it's happened, it only gets worse. We can't let the left takeover and ruin American values."

Jorge Masvidal also condemned the FBI raid on Donald Trump's property last year

Donald Trump's Florida property was raided by the FBI last August on suspicions that the former president took government records from the White House to his residence.

Apart from other MMA figures like Jake Shields, Trump has the unwavering support of Jorge Masvidal as always. The BMF titleholder wrote in a previous tweet:

Apart from this, Masvidal was seen donning a 'Fighters for Trump' mask ahead of his UFC 251 clash against Kamaru Usman and was also a part of the Republican's 'Fighters Against Socialism' rally.
