#3. Donald Trump praises Dustin Poirier for UFC 302 performance against Islam Makhachev

Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently lauded Dustin Poirier for his performance against Islam Makhachev at UFC 302.

Trump appeared on Theo Von's This Past Weekend podcast, where he discussed 'The Diamond's' performance. According to the 78-year-old, Poirier showed a "warrior" spirit. He said:

“Oh, he’s great… He’s a warrior! That last fight he had. Whether you like it or not, he is a warrior.”

He continued:

"No, he didn’t lose that fight. He really… Man, his fighting was tough. He was tough and didn’t expect that same fight. But he oftentimes, well he makes people suffer. There’s no question about it."

#2. Andrew Tate's Romanian compound raided over alleged involvement with minors

Controversial internet personality Andrew Tate appears to be in legal troubles once again, after Romanian law enforcement agency DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) reportedly launched a full scale raid on the Tate brothers' compound.

Video footage released this week showed law enforcement officials forcefully entering the compound, following accusations that Tate and his brother Tristan trafficked and had sexual intercourse with minors.

'Cobra' then took to X to react to the situation, stating once again that the "Matrix" was out to get him. He tweeted:

"The Matrix is real. And they have a tried and true playbook. Slander is their number one tool and the process is the punishment. But unfortunately for them, Good always wins in the end."

#1. Dana White gets brutally honest with DWCS fighter for failing to improve despite advice given to them last year

Dana White recently gave a brutally honest assessment of Dana White Contender Series (DWCS) fighter Torrez Finney after the 25-year-old failed to make a significant impact with his performance.

Finney (9-0) appeared on the second week of the eighth season of the show, hoping to earn a UFC contract. He then faced Cameron Rowston and won the fight via unanimous decision.

Following his victory, White refused to mince his words and stated that a performance like that would see him get "decimated" in the UFC. He said:

"I'm always brutally honest with this stuff. You get absolutely decimated in the UFC with the performance that you put on tonight. Your performance last year was better than this year. You're 25-years old kid. You're obviously a talented athlete. Go and get three of four fights this year and then come back and talk to us about the UFC. You gassed out tonight and had a tough time getting through three rounds. You're not ready for the UFC."
