Donald Trump reportedly set to go on Joe Rogan's podcast: Here's the rumored date
Former American President Donald Trump is set to appear on Joe Rogan’s JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast. With the election just two weeks away, this could potentially be Trump’s biggest move to attract a young male audience.
Rogan’s podcast has a massive following, with over 17 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 14 million listeners on Spotify. This move by Trump could be a strong media strategy to gain male voters, as 81% of listeners are male and 56% are under 35 years of age, according to a YouGov poll.
The podcast will be recorded in Austin at Rogan's Texas studio this Friday, according to Politico. It will be interesting to watch, as both Trump and Rogan share a complicated relationship. In an August episode of the podcast, Rogan praised Robert F. Kennedy Jr., saying:
“That’s just what they do. That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right. They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”

This led to a backlash against the UFC commentator from Trump's supporters. In response, Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustration, writing:
“It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024”
Paul Felder replaces Joe Rogan on the commentary team for UFC 308
The UFC 308 pay-per-view event will take place on Oct. 26, 2024, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Since Rogan doesn’t travel to events outside of the U.S., he has been replaced by Paul Felder.
Felder will be seated for color commentary alongside former heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and play-by-play commentator Jon Anik. Felder is frequently seen providing commentary for UFC Fight Night events.
