Donald Trump tells Joe Rogan why he kept the JFK files under wraps: "It addresses people that are still living"

Donald Trump shed light on some lesser-known facts about former President John F. Kennedy's assassination and promised to declassify the documents related to it. Kennedy's assassination is one of the most shocking incidents in modern United States history and the case continues to intrigue masses.

During a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, former President Trump shared some lesser-known details about the case. Trump said he wanted to declassify the JFK files during his first presidential term from 2016 to 2020. However, many people, whom he considered trustworthy and knowledgeable, advised him against it. The former President explained it and said:

"[The JFK files] address the people that are still living, there are people that are affected. And, it could be some national security reason that I don't have to necessarily know about. But some really good, talented people asked me not to do it. I opened it up and they said, 'Would it be possible for us to do that at a different day?'"

When Rogan insisted on knowing if Trump studied all the documents related to the case, Trump said that he had gone through about 50 percent of them and added:

"When there are living people, you generally tend not to want to do it. When people are still living. Living people that formerly worked for the government and living people that were somehow involved in it and you tend not to do that. But it's time to open it. I can't tell you whether or not, they're going to find anything of interest in it."

Donald Trump tells Joe Rogan what he learned from "great pilots" about UFO citings

Joe Rogan has taken a keen interest in the theories about alien life and advanced civilizations that have potentially discovered the earth. Speaking further in the aforementioned episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Donald Trump told the UFC color commentator about what he learned from some reputed pilots about the UFO citings:

"I interviewed jet pilots that were solid people, perfect - great pilots, great everything. And they said, We saw things, sir, that were very strange. Like, a round ball but it wasn't a comet or a meteor. It was something and it was going four times faster than an F222,' which is a very fast plane, you know. And it was round, which isn't, in theory, a great shape." (2:46:10)
