Donald Trump and The Undertaker discuss how UFC and WWE's revenues stack up after $21.4 billion merger under TKO
Donald Trump and The Undertaker recently discussed how UFC and WWE's respective revenues stack up to each other after their $21.4 billion merger under TKO. Both companies appear to be thriving since their merger and their respective fanbases have witnessed the vision they each have for the future.
WWE have utilized their global demand by hosting the majority of their PLE events in international markets, some of which have been in stadiums. In addition, they also secured lucrative media rights deals with Netflix, NBC Universal and The CW this past year. Meanwhile, the UFC have also taken an international approach as they hosted pay-per-views and Fight Nights in international markets and even became the first to host a combat sports event at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
During his appearance on Six Feet Under With Mark Calaway, the former U.S. President asked the WWE legend how the revenue of the pro wrestling company stacks up to the MMA leader. The Undertaker mentioned that he wasn't too sure about the UFC's revenue but noted that the sports entertainment juggernaut is experiencing another boom period at the moment:
"[WWE's] revenue, I mean, right now it is crazy. [WWE] are selling out...Wrestling, it's doing crazy...Sold out everywhere and we're doing a lot of international stuff now, merchandise...I don't know [UFC's] numbers very well but I know that the [TKO] stock is doing really well and the company as a whole is doing really well."
