Dricus du Plessis mocks Brendan Allen's UFC Paris loss against Nassourdine Imavov, 'All In' fires back: "We dont all get the easy route"

Dricus du Plessis recently took a dig at Brendan Allen following his loss against Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Paris this past weekend. This prompted a reaction from Allen, who bashed du Plessis for his remark.

The co-main event of UFC Paris featured a middleweight showdown between Allen and Imavov. Before the fight, the American had an incredible winning run of seven fights, including victories over Bruno Silva, Paul Craig, and Andre Muniz. In his last octagon outing at UFC Vegas 90, Allen defeated Chris Curtis via split decision.

Meanwhile, Imavov also squared off against Curtis at UFC 289, however, their fight was declared a no-contest after an accidental head clash between the two fighters in the second round. Since then, the Frenchman was riding on a two-fight streak before his fight with Allen. Imavov was coming off a first-round TKO against former middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonier at UFC on ESPN 57.

Allen established his presence from the start and dominated the opening round. However, Imavov turned the tide of the bout in the second round, nearly submitting Allen. The Frenchman prevailed in the third round because of his superior ground control and striking.

Their contest lasted 15 minutes and Imavov got his hand raised via unanimous decision. The judges scored the contest (29-28 x3) in favor of the 29-year-old.

Before UFC Paris, Allen expressed his desire to face du Plessis for the title if he defeated Imavov. That doesn't appear to be the case, though, as the reigning champion poked fun at Allen on X after the 28-year-old's defeat, writing:

''Tough luck @BrendanAllenMMA, JK you suck loser''

In response, Allen sent a strong warning to du Plessis, writing:

''Says the one been ducking me since getting in. We don't all get the easy route. Wasn't my night tonight......but ill still f**k you up''
