Dustin Poirier makes plans for Conor McGregor's $500k donation to the Good Fight Foundation

Taking to Twitter earlier today, Conor McGregor confirmed that he is ready to fight Dustin Poirier under the UFC banner and has also accepted the offer made by the promotion. The Irishman, however, did add a condition to it, claiming that the fight needs to happen in 2020 and he will also be donating $500k towards Poirier's charity.

In a response made by The Diamond, the former interim UFC Lightweight Champion claimed that the fight will get worked out and also revealed that he is will be using McGregor's donation to open a Boxing/MMA Academy.

While the rumored fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is yet to be confirmed, the former Lightweight title holder took to Twitter and wrote that he hopes of the fight eventually being worked out by all parties involved.

In one of his recent tweets, The Diamond also claimed that he will be inaugurating a Boxing/MMA Academy with Conor McGregor's donation. The academy will be around the area where Poirier and former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Cormier grew up.

Speaking of DC, the former UFC Double Champion also praised Conor McGregor for his actions and donating $500k towards Poirier's charity.

Dustin Poirier reportedly agrees to fight Conor McGregor in November or December

In addition to Conor McGregor already claiming that he's willing to fight Dustin Poirier in a rematch in 2020 itself, ESPN's Ariel Helwani has also reported that the he has no problems in crossing paths with the Irishman at either UFC 255 or UFC 256.

With Cody Garbrandt out of his flyweight title fight at UFC 255 and with Kamaru Usman vs. Gilbert Burns being called off once again, this time from the UFC 256 card, McGregor vs. Poirier II could definitely take place at either of the two PPVs.

Now it all comes down to the final decision made by UFC and it remains to be seen what Dana White and his management team will have in store for Poirier and McGregor.
